Hurricane Irene is still heading toward the Carolinas, and that causing high school officials in several states to begin moving high school football games from Friday night to Thursday night, and in some cases Wednesday night.
Nick Stevens of WRAL-TV has tweeted that several games have been officially moved.
School officials in Savannah, Georgia, which is just south of the Carolinas, have also moved-up several games with more changes expected throughout the day.
In Florida, officials are also keeping an eye on the storm's movement. As of now, seven games have been moved to Wednesday night.
